The Wedding of Hannah & Stuart at St Dunstans & The Fox & Hounds, Hunsden

Friday the 29th of July and we're back in Hertfordshire for the wedding of Hannah & Stuart at St Dunstan's Church and the Fox and Hounds in the pretty village of Hunsden. After some prep photos at their home we headed to the Church for a lovely ceremony. Then a 2 minute drive to the Pub for a few photos and delicious meal! The evening started with a huge bouquet throw, the cutting of an amazing cake, a flamboyant 1st dance & a Jive lesson - wow!

The Wedding of Mina & Mickie at Kings Hotel, Stokenchurch

Yesterday we were in Buckinghamshire for the Civil Partnership of Yamina & Michaela at The Kings Hotel in Stokenchurch. Both brides had some photos taken of their preparations before their lovely ceremony in front of 80 guests. We took the formal shots on the local common next to the Hotel before everyone went back inside to enjoy the wedding breakfast and some very emotional speeches! We captured their cake cutting and 1st dance before leaving them to dance the night away!

The Wedding of Laura & Gary at Datchworth Church & Coltsfoot Country Retreat

Yesterday, the 22nd we back at Coltsfoot for the 2nd time this month for the wedding of Laura & Gary. These guys booked way back in 2009 so it's been a long time coming but what a marvellous day we had! We started the day in Luton where Laura got ready, headed to Datchworth for their ceremony then onto nearby Coltsfoot for the reception. The weather was on our side for the huge majority of the day only giving in to the rain later in the evening. A wonderful bright colour scheme was complimented perfectly by the stunning  flowers from The Flower Girl based in Luton. Have a lovely honeymoon!

The Wedding of Claire & Matt at Manor of Groves, Colonnade Suite

Saturday the 16th July we're in High Wych near Sawbridgeworth for the wedding of Claire & Matt at Manor of Groves Hotel. Predictions for the weather didn't look good but after a rainy start it dried up long enough for us take most of our shots outside. During the wedding breakfast the guests were entertained by some truly amazing (surprise) singing waiters - the best we've seen. After a few more outdoor shots in the warm evening air the evening got underway with the cake cutting and 1st dance.

The Wedding of Lucy & Matt at Orsett Hall

Yesterday and we're in Essex for the wedding of Lucy & Matt at Orsett Hall Hotel. After getting ready in their grand Bridal Suite Lucy and Matt had their ceremony at St Mary's Corringham before returning to Orsett Hall for their reception. We had a lovely warm day so everyone stayed outside to enjoy the drinks in the sunshine. After completing their group photos we took Lucy & Matt on a little tour of the gardens for their photos then captured their receiving line and speeches before our time was up. Happy Honeymooning!

The Wedding of Stephanie & Elliot at Fanhams Hall Hotel

Sunday the 10th of July and we're in Ware at Fanhams Hall Hotel for the wedding of Stephanie and Elliot. The day started with warm sunshine which was good as the ceremony was to be outside on one of the lawns! Such a fun couple we loved our time with them and their family and friends. The drizzle started in the afternoon but it didn't dampen the spirits; instead they threw themselves into their Moving Media Studios Marryoke rendition of Rihanna's Umbrella song! 

The Wedding of Lindsay & Daniel at Down Hall Hotel

Friday the 8th July and we're back in Hatfield Heath this time at Down Hall for the wedding of Lindsay & Daniel. What a stunning venue both inside and outside and such a friendly couple, we had a great day despite the odd shower of rain. We're back at Down Hall in a few weeks time, looking forward to that already!

Wedding Letter Props

We've recently been using a few signs and letters in our photography - both at pre-ceremony shoots and weddings themselves. The collage below shows some of the wording props available to couples.

We also hire out wooden letters to decorate the reception we have MR & MR, MR & MRS & MRS & MRS for example and also have some quirky signs which say things such as 'Happily Ever After' & 'Live Long and Prosper' - contact us for details.

The Wedding of Helen & Dave at All Saints Church, Hertford & Coltsfoot Country Retreat, Datchworth

Saturday the 2nd of July and we stay local for the wedding of Helen & Dave at Hertford's All Saints Church with their reception in Datchworth at Coltsfoot Country Retreat Hotel. Alex was at the Church to meet Dave and his guys and take a few pictures while I went to their home for a couple of pre-ceremony shots of the Bride. After a beautiful service we captured some photos outside the Church before heading to the Hotel for the Group shots and some couple portraits. We left just before they sat for their Wedding Breakfast.
