Our week away in Devon

Had an amazing cottage booked for the week plus many ideas for trips out and things to do. Tried a bit of Geocaching, went pottery painting at China Blue in Totnes and also went to Paignton Pier, the Guild of Devon Craftsman in Bovey Tracy plus loads of other places! We go to Dartmoor every year, love it there.

We're away from the 19th to 26th February

The Wedding of Sarah & Wayne at Marygreen Manor, Brentwood

February the 12th and we're in Brentwood for the wedding of Sarah & Wayne at Marygreen Manor - it's not a venue we've been to before but we'd like to heartily recommend it; the food is especially nice! Sarah and Wayne booked over a year in advance and had put a lot of planning into their day getting many compliments for their table settings and personal touches for the wedding breakfast. The weather started out a little dull but as the ceremony drew closer the sun came out and we ended up with a very pleasant day. We stayed through the whole day from prep to 1st dance and every minute was a pleasure.

Our availability calendar

We're very busy over the next month or so with hardly any dates available for meetings. I've emailed everyone who's getting married in the April & May and I'm hoping these guys will be able to book meetings in the later part of March & early April.

There are some dates marked as reserved [yellow] that we may be to meet up on for example we may have the evening free but not the daytime or vice versa - just ask.

We've had some commercial work to complete which should all be done by the end of March so hopefully as the year gets busier with weddings we'll have the flexibility and free time to cope with it!

The Wedding of Michelle & Patrick at The Swan Hotel, Bedford

Saturday the 5th and we're in Bedford for the wedding of Patrick and Michelle at The Swan Hotel, which is right on the embankment of the river Great Ouse. The day was blustery so we decided not to take the guests outside too much for photos, sticking close to the Hotel entrances as well as interior locations. After a lovely ceremony and a few photos everyone enjoyed four speeches including one from the Bride who presented her Groom with a surprise honeymoon!
