My Daughter's Wedding Venue Hunt
My daughter recently got engaged and is now on the hunt for a venue - now we've been to a few so we're in a good place to offer advice.
Her first dip in the wedding water was Quendon Hall (Parklands) she loved the outdoor ceremony option and the indeed the indoor ceremony option! But as with a lot of venues the price was out of their reach - they have just moved in to their own flat and are saving for their own home.
2nd look was Ware Priory, better financially but no outdoor option. Yesterday we suggested South Farm, a beautiful outdoor option (with added cute animals) an equally lovely indoor option - she loved the swagging in the barn.
So that's where we're off on Monday. Her, him, me my wife, my mum and his mum, the full monty! And we're having a belated Mother's day lunch at Three Lakes on the way - just to have a nosey there. The outdoor option is stunning but the barn isn't quite as nice as South Farm but it's cheaper and closer so who knows!
